Koh Samui Top Cats https://topcats.com/
Lokakuussa 2023 loppupuolella kävin tutustumassa Koh Samuin saarella sijaitsevassa Top Cats kalastuskeskuksessa.
Kalastin kaksi 12 tunnin päivää pimeästä pimeään. Ja kaloja kyllä nousi, kokonaissaldo oli 51 kappaletta ja voi mahoton, mikä määrä niitä karkaili tai katkoi siimoja. Sillä järvessä on todella suuria kaloja, erittäin suuriakin.
Top Catsin kohdekalana on ehdottomasti Siam Carp eli siis karppi. Toinen tavoiteltava laji on tietenkin Arapaima, joita kohteessa on reilusti ja erittäin isojakin. Arapaimat syövät kädestä
Myös Mekong Giant Catfish vääntää vapaa tuontuostakin.
Mekong Giant Catfish Mekong tämän kanssa väänsin 40 min.
Siam Carp Siam Carp on todella vahva vääntäjä.
Muita lajeja, joita voi saada koukkuihin olivat Redtail, Pacu, ja hieman erikoisempana Ribshaw catfish. Sekä monia muita salaperäisiä lajeja.

Meidän kalastus meni kutakuinkin niin, että aamupäivästä rauhaamme häiritsivät karpit ja iltaa kohti petokalat aktivoituivat enemmän. Aivan pimeässä klo 19 jälkeen sitten Arapaimat läksivät saalistamaan ja toisen illan huipentumana sainkin vääntää kuvassa näkyvän, 250 lb (eli 113 kg) Arapaiman haaviin.
Kaikkiaan voidaan Top Cats kalastuspaikasta sanoa, että todella mahtava paikka ja erittäin hyvää palvelua saimme osaksemme. Ja olihan lammella muitakin "turistikalastajia", joiden naamalla loisti hymy, kun kalastus oli ohi. 
Matkailevan kalastajan puolelta vahva suositus kohteelle.

At the end of October 2023,
I visited the Top Cats fishing center on the island of Koh Samui.
I fished two 12-hour days
from dark to dark. And the fish did rise, the total balance was 51 and it's
unbelievable how many of them escaped or broke the lines. Because there are
really big fish in the lake, very big ones.
The target fish of Top Cats
is definitely the Siam Carp. Another species to aim for is of course the
Arapaima, of which there are plenty and very large ones in the destination. The
Mekong Giant Catfish is also free from imports.
Other species that could be
caught on the hooks were Redtail, Pacu, and a little more special Ribshaw
catfish. As well as many other mysterious species.
Our fishing went in such a
way that the carp disturbed our peace in the morning and the predatory fish
became more active towards the evening. In the dark after 19:00, the Arapaima
went hunting, and as the climax of the second night, I was able to twist the
250 lb (ie 113 kg) Arapaima shown in the picture into the wound. 
All in all, we can say that
Top Cats fishing place is a really great place and we received very good
service. And after all, there were other "tourist fishermen" on the
pond, whose faces shone with a smile when the fishing was over.
A strong recommendation for the destination from a traveling fisherman.
