Mekong Giant Catfish - New
Bungsamran järvi
Jokainen Kala-Harrin kalastusreissuja seurannut tietää
tämän Bangkokin lähellä olevan New Bungsamran -järven.
Olen vieraillut vuodesta 2012 lähtien joka reissulla
täällä ja vaikka tiedän kalastuksen olevan yhtä tuskaa, niin aina sinne vaan
tahtoo mennä. Tarkennan hieman tuota sanaa tuskaa, mutta jos katsotte videon,
niin näette, että tuskanhiki siinä kalastajalla on otsalla ja koko kehossa.
Minä siis rakastan tätä kalastusta, mutta samalla myös
vihaan. Kun päivän aikana vääntää noiden tavarajunien kanssa vaikkapa 20 kertaa,
niin voin sanoa, että iltapunttisalin saa unohtaa. Ja ehkä seuraavanakin
päivänä tulee mieleen vaan ottaa tunnin Thaihieronta.
Edellinen vierailu NBSR järvelle oli lokakuussa, kun
laskeuduin talven Aasian asumiskuvioihin. Ja nyt vähän ennen Suomeen paluuta,
piti tehdä toinen vierailu ja voi hyvä tavaton taas.
Päivän aikana väänsin laiturille 18 Mekong Giant Catfish -kalaa
ja vaikka nyt ei kauhean isoja tullutkaan, kyllä keho huuteli hoosiannaan jo
viimeistä vääntäessäni. Joka olikin päivän suurin, +60 kg. Silti jäätiin omasta
ennätyksestä, joka on ko. paikasta 108 kg.
Järvessä on noin 40.000 Mekongia ja päälle 4.000 Siam Carpia
sekä muut eväkkäät siihen päälle. Mm. isoja Arapaimoja möyrähteli pinnassa tuon
tuostaan.
Järvi on täyden palvelun tavaratalo, eli tulet sopivissa
varusteissa paikalle ja ryhdyt kalastamaan. Oppaat ovat ammattitaitoisia ja
pääset nopeasti rytmiin kiinni.
Suuret suositukset tällä kohteelle ehdottomasti, mikäli
lomalla tulee käytyä Bangkokissa. Ja miksei tulisi.
Mekong Giant Catfish - New Bungsamran Lake
Anyone who has followed Kala-Harri's fishing trips knows this New Bungsamran lake near Bangkok.
I've
been visiting every trip here since 2012 and even though I know fishing is a
pain, I always want to go there. I'll elaborate a bit on that word pain, but if
you watch the video, you'll see that the fisherman has sweat of pain on his
forehead and all over his body.
So
I love this fishing, but at the same time I hate it. When you screw with those
freight trains, for example, 20 times during the day, I can say that you can
forget about the evening weight room. And maybe the next day too, I'll think of
taking an hour of Thai massage.
The
last visit to the NBSR lake was in October, when I landed on winter Asian
housing patterns. And now, shortly before returning to Finland, I had to make
another visit, and oh well, unusual again.
During
the day, I reeled in 18 Mekong Giant Catfish on the pier and although there
were no terribly big ones, the body screamed cheers when I reeled in the last
one. Which was the biggest of the day, +60 kg. Still, we fell short of our own
record, which is from 108 kg.
There
are about 40.000 Mekong and over 4.000 Siam Carp and other fins in the lake.
Among other things, big macaws were roaring on the surface here and there.
Lake is a full-service department store, which means you come with the right
equipment and start fishing. The guides are professional and you will quickly
get into the rhythm.
Definitely
highly recommend this destination if you are visiting Bangkok on vacation. And
why not.
